One injured in accident involving two buses at JB’s CIQ
JOHOR BARU: An accident involving two buses at the bus lane parking lot of the Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine Complex (CIQ) in Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) here caused a passenger to be injured.
Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat said the incident occurred at 5.50am on Monday (March 18) on the side headed towards Singapore.
“The accident occurred after one of the buses was reversing out of the parking lot, and crashed into an incoming bus from behind.
“The impact caused one of the passengers to suffer a minor injury that was treated at the green zone of the Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA),” he said in a statement here.
ACP Raub added that the offence is investigated under 112 LN 170/59 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959 for reversing offence.

“Those with information on the incident are urged to come to the Johor Baru South Traffic Station to help with investigations,” he said.
