PAS will fill the post of Chief Minister of Melaka

Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) which is currently under the auspices of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) is said to fill the post of Chief Minister of Melaka if it wins the Melaka state election together with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM).

This is based on the confidence of the Melaka PAS Commissioner who will contest in Dun Duyong, PAS will be the ‘King Maker’ in this state election.

Datuk Kamaruddin Sidek, Melaka PAS Commissioner expressed confidence that the party will win the Melaka state election with PPPBM under the symbol of the Perikatan Nasional through his statement in Melaka Hari Ini

Rumor has it that if they (PAS) manage to seize some DUN seats, it is said that the offer given to PAS is quite lucrative and attractive.

Is it true that apart from the post of Chief Minister of Melaka, PAS is also rumoured to introduce Hudud Law in Melaka as a process for the people of Melaka to approach the party?

If the news is true, then Melaka will be the second state to implement Hudud Law after Kelantan?

The division of seats between PPBM and PAS is also said to use a 50/50 formula to balance the strength of their respective parties. The extent of the validity of the matter has yet to be ascertained.

PAS needs to be honest with the voters in the Melaka state election and PPBM needs to support the PAS candidate this time.

PPBM also needs to prepare a form of memorandum of understanding so as not to defect to PAS if they (PPBM) win more than 50% of the Melaka state seats.
