Voters must reject PH, urges Penang Pas commissioner

GEORGE TOWN: Voters nationwide, especially those in Penang, need to be mature and wise in deciding to reject Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the 15th General Election (GE15).

They should not be easily influenced by new slogans and sweet promises coming from the three-party pact, said Penang Pas commissioner Muhammad Fauzi Yusoff.

He explained that in the 22 months of PH rule, it had seen the country reach the point of being harassed in polemics involving racial issues, the Federal Constitution and the royal institution.

”Penang Pas supports the statement of Pas president Tan Sri Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang that Pas rejects PH’s ‘big tent’ (approach).

“Therefore, Malaysians, especially Malay Muslims, should open their eyes to see the true face of the mastermind behind the mask of PH, which is a party that adheres to socialism,” he said today.

Prior to this, Hadi had insisted that Pas would not cooperate with PH following its previous experience with several parties in the pact.

According to Fauzi, Penang is the main DAP-PH pulse, which is a “lab rat” for unbalanced development that is currently taking place.

”Various issues related to projects have a negative impact on the people, for example the Penang South Island project.

”Therefore, the idea of uniting the ummah in Penang will see steps being taken to bring about change after almost three terms of being led by DAP-PH.

“Nothing is impossible if the people of Penang are united in responding to the call to unite the ummah for the wellbeing of this state,” he said.
