OnePlus introduces new smartphone OnePlus 11 5G
KUALA LUMPUR: OnePlus has officially launched its new OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus (earbuds).
The company’s senior product manager, Jonathan Yeung, said the OnePlus 11 5G is for those who would want a reasonably priced smartphone with tiptop specs and a distinctive design that is different from other tier-1 products.
“This smartphone was designed to stand out, so people don’t have to spend that much money for a flagship-level product. We do a lot of adjustments to facilitate how RAM is used in our system to ensure that these flagship-level experiences remain in our products for up to 2 to 4 years,” he added.
The OnePlus 11 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB ROM with USF 4.0.
It also comes with RAM-Vita, received a TUV SUD 48-month Fluency Rating A, and is certified by SGS perceived Fluency A+.
One of its great features is the hardware-enabled ray tracing that is supported by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform.
Furthermore, OnePlus will be offering a 3D dynamic live wallpaper, PhysRay wallpaper which entails the Vitality of Light, Matrix, Candyverse, and Oceanfront themes.
The smartphone also has a 100W Supervooc Endurance Edition that juices up the OnePlus 11 5G from 1 to 100 per cent in 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 11 5G has a TUV Rheinland Certification for Safe Charging and Usage after stringent tests.
It also features a new Cryo-velocity VC Cooling System with a 3685mm VC area, 5673 mm crystalline graphene in the mid-frame layer, and a layer of crystalline graphene for the display to increase heat dissipation capability.
Also, the OnePlus 11 5G sports a 6.7-inch 2K 120Hz Super Fluid Amoled Display with LTPO 3.0 and is certified by TUV SUD Precise Touching S Rating and SGS Low Blue Light Ex.
It features Dolby Vision HDR imaging, is equipped with Dual ‘Reality’ Speakers, and supports Dolby Atmos too.
CAMERA
The OnePlus 11 5G is fitted with a triple camera system with a 50MP IMX890 sensor and optical image stabiliser (OIS) for steady shots.
There is also a 115-degree 48MP ultra-wide camera and an IMX709 32MP portrait lens too.
The smartphone is also equipped with TurboRAW HDR to capture scenes with ‘pristine HDR clarity’.
The collaboration between OnePlus and Hasselblad continues with their brand-new Natural Colour Calibration.
The Hasselblad Portrait Mode helps users take DSLR-like photos, depth-tracking, natural bokeh, and light flare effects.
SOFTWARE
Supported by OxygenOS 13, the smartphone boasts intuitive AI capabilities that learn users’ habits to anticipate their actions.
This is utilisable in the device’s HyperBoost Gaming Engine that learns and adapts users’ gameplay.
With 1Hz Always-On Display (AOD), the smartphone consumes 30 per cent less power compared with 30Hz AOD.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The OnePlus 11 5G comes in Titan Black and Eternal Green and is priced at RM3,299 for the 8GB and 256GB (Titan Black) variants as well as RM3,599 for the 16GB and 512GB (Eternal Green) variants.
