KUALA LUMPUR: Several ministers and deputies are among the new line-up of Umno Supreme Council for the 2023/26 term.

They are Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir, who received 175 votes, and International Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, who obtained 167 votes.

Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan received 167 votes, Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah received 178 votes and Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad garnered 110 votes.

Also securing their seats in the Umno Supreme Council are three women leaders, including former Puteri Umno chief Datuk Zahida Zarik Khan.

Zahida secured votes from 113 divisions to make into the party’s supreme council.

Other women leaders in the party’s supreme council are Datuk Shahaniza Shamsuddin with 129 votes and Datuk Rosnah Abd Rashid Shirlin with 94 votes.

The rest in the 25-member council are Sabah Umno chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, Kelantan Umno Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub, Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Rahim, Datuk Azian Osman, Datuk Dr Shaik Hussein Mydin, Datuk Mohd Razlan Muhammad Rafii, Datuk Seri Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin and Datuk Dr Puad Zarkashi.

Others in the council are Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom, Datuk Johan Abdul Aziz, Umno information chief Isham Jalil, Datuk Seri Abd Rahman Dahlan, Datuk Lokman Noor Adam, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Said, Datuk Mohd Rafi Alli Hassan and Datuk Abdul Razak Abdul Rahman.
