After Archie Gray, Ange Postecoglou should try to sign another really exciting teenager for Tottenham

After completing the signing of Archie Gray from Leeds United, Tottenham should now try to sign another really promising teenager this summer transfer window.
Ange Postecoglou will be pleased with his early summer business having brought in Gray and Timo Werner.
Though, the work will not stop there, as they must now address the glaring weakness up front.
Since Harry Kane’s departure last summer, Tottenham have lacked a prolific number nine with Richarlison not quite making the grade.
So to solve that issue, they should try to sign a teenage striker tipped for big things this summer.
Tottenham should try to sign Evan Ferguson
Evan Ferguson has been making waves for Brighton over the last couple of years and is regarded as a generational talent.
Aged only 19, the towering centre-forward has already 47 Premier League appearances, netting 12 times whilst laying on two assists.
Ferguson struggled with injury last season and was reduced to just 15 league starts – which has seen his stock fall slightly since this time last year.
That’s a good thing for Tottenham, though, as they may be able to land his services for much cheaper than the rumoured £120m price tag.
The 2004-born would be absolutely perfect for Postecoglou’s system, so the club should really consider making an offer.
Roberto De Zerbi thinks he can reach top level
Roberto De Zerbi, speaking after Ferguson’s hat-trick against Newcastle last year, hailed the Republic of Ireland international and said he become one of the most prolific strikers on the continent.
“His improvement is important for him, for us, for his career because he’s working to complete his qualities, not only score, because he can become big, big, big,” said De Zerbi, via Optus Sport.
“His qualities are enough to become a great player, one of the top scorers in Europe.
“He’s (born in) 2004. I don’t know how many young players like Evan they score these goals in their careers.”
If Tottenham were to land his signature, they’d be getting a top-level striker for the next decade plus.
