NIBONG TEBAL – Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli has slammed the Opposition, stating that their candidate’s educational qualifications were significantly lower than Pakatan Harapan’s (PH).

“I thought ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) was only used to qualify for working at a company.

“Thank you to PN (Perikatan Nasional) for teaching us that we do not need to go to universities and can stop at SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or have an ISO qualification to be a state leader,” he addressed the audience at PH grand finale ceramah at Bandar Tasek Mutiara here today.

Rafizi also highlighted the Opposition’s inadequate efforts, pointing out their use of ‘surat layang’ (anonymous letters) instead of formal documents to raise complaints, unlike the government.
“You need proper evidence for any accusation that you are addressing to the government,” he added.

On a separate matter, Rafizi urged the Opposition to stop manipulating youth sentiments by invoking fears of a Jewish agenda involving BlackRock allegations.

It was recently reported that data reviews show BlackRock has interests and shareholdings worth RM24.7 billion in companies listed on Bursa Malaysia and RM7.9 billion in Malaysian government and corporate bonds.

According to publicly available data, as of May 2024, the global investment firm held equity investments in 100 listed companies in Malaysia across all industrial sectors, including three banking institutions.

Tomorrow’s Sungai Bakap state by-election is seeing PH’s candidate Joohari Ariffin battling Nibong Tebal Pas vice-president Abidin Ismail representing PN in a straight fight which was held following the death of incumbent Nor Zamri Latiff on May 24 due to inflammation in the stomach.
