SUNGAI BAKAP: PAS reaffirms its stance that the party has no intention of joining the Pakatan Harapan (PH) – Barisan Nasional (BN) unity government, contrary to talk that has been circulating, says Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man (pic).

The PAS deputy president said there is no reason for discussions between the party and the unity government as PAS remains steadfast in its decision not to support the government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Malay language daily Sinar Harian reported.

“There are no negotiations, no discussions, no internal party meetings or anything of the sort,” Sinar Harian quoted him as saying.

Tuan Ibrahim made these remarks during a Perikatan Nasional ceramah for the Sungai Bakap by-election on Saturday (June 22).

He said the party will firmly hold to its promise never to cooperate with Anwar and DAP, even under various pressures.
