Three men feared missing at sea

Three men are feared missing at sea after the boat they were in is believed to have capsized.

Following a report, a search and rescue (SAR) operation was activated to look for the missing trio.

The Kuala Muda Fire and Rescue station was alerted to the incident about 10.46am.

Operations officer Yusmin Mohd Yusoff said when they arrived at the Sungai Tembus Fisherman’s Jetty in Penaga, they were told that the three men, believed to be fishermen, were feared missing.

“They have been identified as Mohd Firdaus Samsudin, 30s as well as Hazizul Zakaria and Ruzidi Saad, both in their 40s.

“A SAR has been activated in search of the missing trio,” he said today.
