Skeletal remains of Keramat Pulai landslide victim found

SIMPANG PULAI: Rescuers today found skeletal remains of one of the victims of a landslide incident at a limestone quarry in Keramat Pulai, Jalan Simpang Pulai-Cameron Highlands, six months ago.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department director Azmi Osman confirmed the matter when contacted.

“Initially, we found an excavator and then some clothes, as well as the skeleton remains,” he said, adding that the identity of the victim has yet to be ascertained.



It was reported that two men were buried under the debris of the landslide, which took place about 9.30am on March 8.

The trapped victims were identified as Itam Bah Lasoh, 43, and Kheow Loo Siew Soon, 49.
