5 Family-friendly Camping and Glamping Sites in Selangor and KL

Kids love their imaginary play, adventures and of course, holidays! We’ve all had our fair share of constructing pretend play scenarios-such as turning bed sheets into makeshift tents for mini campsite scenarios. Let’s swap the blanket fort play for a real camping excursion instead, and head out to the great outdoors for a real adventure! Whether you enjoy pitching your own tents, or prefer a more luxe escape- we’ve done the work for you, and listed down some family-friendly camping (and glamping) sites to suit your personal preferences and needs.

1. The Nest at MAEPS, Serdang (Camping)

Camping can’t get anymore educational with The Nest, an outdoor adventure and sustainable education training centre.  The Nest’s Serdang camping site is located at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), with lots of exciting and enlightening activities for the whole family.  Time your camping dates so you can join The Nest’s Forest School Program, which has been designed based on United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Developmental Goals (with children as young as 5 being able to join, when accompanied by a parent!) Why not learn about sustainable farming, get acquainted with bushcraft survival skills, or discover facts about wildlife, while you are out amidst nature itself?
