In the tweet posted this morning, he said: “What is this slander?”
“DSAI said he has cancelled the services of vehicle benefits of ex-ministers today.
“The question is, since when did former ministers have such privileges? Cancelling things that don’t exist?
“Help fight this slander, please share”
This was a response to the PM’s official address after a special cabinet meeting was conducted on Tuesday.
Anwar in a clip can be seen answering to the press on actions taken to stop vehicle privileges ex-ministers in the previous administration.
Netizens were quick to respond to the tweet with mixed reactions over the matter.
One user said: “Is this about seeking publicity? People who don’t understand and die-hard supporters will be excited. That might be the point.”
“As Razi Jidin said, why do you want to cancel things that don’t exist? PM officials should inform correct facts so that the PM can relay the right information. Pity him for saying wrong facts”
