Aishah confirms divorced by husband of 5 years via WhatsApp

After living separately for several months, singer Wan Aishah Wan Ariffin has confirmed that she was divorced by her husband of five years on Dec 25 last year via WhatsApp.

“I cried when I received the heartbreaking message.

“I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t sad with the outcome of our marriage.

“But I had to just soldier on and accept that this is part of God’s plan,” said the 57-year-old artiste in a news report recently.

However, she said that instead of wallowing in sadness, she knew life must go on and accepted her fate to live as a single mother again.

“But this is nothing new. Fortunately I have my two sons to dote on,” said Aishah who preferred to keep details of her failed marriage to herself.

Last November, she admitted that she was not living under the same roof with her husband.
