Audit reveals true winner of Wanita PKR chief post

KUALA LUMPUR: Audit checks have revealed that PKR’s Rodziah Ismail, who was announced as the winner of the Wanita PKR chief post in the 2022 PKR election, actually lost the position to Fadhlina Sidek.

This was revealed today after the PKR Central Election Committee announced the final party election results.

The results showed that Fadhlina, who is a senator in the Dewan Negara, received 18,923 votes, while Rodziah received 18,891 votes.

The final results for the party’s 2022 polls were posted on pemilihankeadilan2022.com.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim won the party presidency uncontested.

Rafizi Ramli was elected deputy president after garnering 59,678 votes, defeating Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

The four vice-president posts were won by Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari with 46,075 votes, Tanjung Malim member of parliament Chang Lih Kang with 34,939, Setiawangsa member of parliament Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad with 34,496 and Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun with 33,230.

For the position of Youth chief, student activist Adam Adli Abdul Halim defeated Penang PKR Youth chief Fahmi Zainol.

PKR Central Election Committee chairman Dr Zaliha Mustafa said the committee examined audit reports from digital experts and accepted the findings based on substantiated evidence through digital analysis.

She said the audit findings revealed that there were attempts to hack the results.

“Audit experts have recommended that we update voting records. The updating was done based on the results of the digital analysis.

“The final results did not affect the wins for most candidates, whether at the central or branch levels.”

The final party polls results released today did not include results for some branches that are involved in controversy, such as the Ampang branch.

The website previously stated that the position of chief of the Ampang branch was won by director and actor Datuk Hans Isaac, 51, with 748 votes.

Hans, whose real name is Gerald Hans Isaac, defeated rapper Altimet, whose real name is Syed Ahmad Syed Abdul Rahman, 43, by two votes.
