Lenovo launches industrial-grade workstation
KUALA LUMPUR: Lenovo today announced the ThinkStation P620 desktop workstation, which is designed to complement the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0).
The new workstation can support industries like automotive, aerospace, manufacturing and architecture for hybrid working environments.
The new machine is said to enable engineers, designers, creators and architects to get their work done faster, with seamless 3D visualisation.
Lenovo Malaysia Relationship Segment’s senior sales director, Steven Loh said in hybrid work environments, customers rely on them to deliver innovative workstations solutions to gain business edge and maximise employee productivity.
“The adoption rate of IR4.0 in Malaysia is very low due to many technologies not being optimised. When you have a lack of manpower, the IR 4.0 is your only chance to maintain quality products. So by using workstations like the next-generation ThinkStation P620, powered by the latest AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO processor, it expands on the previous generation’s unrivaled performance so professionals can create, build and design faster and without compromise,” said Loh during the launch at the Aston Martin Showroom in Jalan Pinang, Kuala Lumpur.
The workstation is powered by AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000WX-Series processor which offers up to 25 per cent performance improvement. It is also available with 24 core CPU option.
Besides that, it supports up to 2 NVIDIA RTX A6000 graphics cards, up to 1TB of memory and 20TB of storage.
The ThinkStation P620 offers PCle Gen 4, Two times the L3 cache directly accessible per core, up to 4.5GHz, up to 64 core processor, 10GB built-in ethernet and support Windows 11.
The ThinkStation P620 will be available later this month on Lenovo.com starting from RM9,999.
