Hypergear’s #GoHyper sees Malaysians running through water obstacles

Waterproof carrier maker Hypergear held its first #GoHyper event at MAEPS Serdang, Selangor that saw some 4,000 participation.

Set in one of the most scenic family fun adventure parks, the event was family-oriented with participants as young as 3 years old participating in a 5km Fun Run.

Called Splash Dash Edition’ the wet and wild splash event saw runners ran through a series of fun water obstacles that also had doubled up as good photo-opportunities for treasured memories.



After the run, participants were delighted with the thrills of water warzones and special game booths at the carnival area to continue the water fun.

Hypergear Malaysia managing director Jack Lee expressed his excitement to see that 4,000 Malaysians joining the event.

“As a brand with products based on adventure, we will organise more exciting events including hiking and diving to promote fitness and health awareness in the community,” he says.



In conjunction with National and Malaysia Day, part of the proceeds from the event went to Team #KeluargaMalaysia, made up of sportsmen Ravi Everest, Abang Polar and Tom Ng (also known as Son of the Sun) to support their expedition to Antarctica.

Hypergear Malaysia had announced during the opening that they support this meaningful cause as Team #KeluargaMalaysia would be the first trio to scale Vinson Massif, which is the highest mountain in Antarctica.

“We pledge to support Team #KeluargaMalaysia because we want to see the future generations continue to carry the torch for a healthier and more connected community. Our brand is built and sustained on the foundation of encouraging society to Get Out There and take on more adventures without limitations or doubts. That’s why we are honoured to sponsor the trio and support the cause,” Lee adds.
