Player with 90 Premier League appearances knows Liverpool want to sign him

Bayern Munich No.10 Leroy Sane knows that Liverpool want to bring him back to the Premier League.
That is according to Christian Falk of BILD.
So, what is the situation involving Leroy Sane and Liverpool? Let’s take a look…
Leroy Sane knows Liverpool want him
Well – according to Falk – the Germany international is aware of interest from Liverpool.
However, Sane wants to wait until the summer to make a decision on his future – although he has hired new representatives, which suggests an exit from the Allianz Arena is on his mind.
Falk told BILD: “That’s true, Leroy Sane is on the list at Liverpool FC. As far as I have heard the Bayern player knows about this interest, but he has not yet decided how to proceed. He has changed his management and wants to decide in the summer.”
The German has already entered the final 18 months of his contract with Bayern Munich.
Sane – who made 90 Premier League appearances during his time at Manchester City – sees his current terms expire in June 2025.
The 28-year-old has been in excellent form this season under Thomas Tuchel, scoring nine goals while also providing 12 assists in 29 appearances.
Leroy Sane could push Luiz Diaz up a gear
In our view, Sane is exactly what Liverpool need this summer.
Sunday’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal showed that Liverpool are lacking pace on the counter when Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez do not feature, so a speedy winger such as Sane certainly wouldn’t go amiss.
Adding a genuine world class forward to the frontline will also – hopefully – motivate Luis Diaz to return to the version of himself we saw immediately after his arrival from Porto in January 2022.
Sane has also been clocked as a quicker player than the South American.
The Colombia international has regressed slightly since arriving at Anfield – although his personal issues during that time must be taken into account, in fairness.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Sane prepares to make a decision on his future.
