Zuraida’s Ampang Service Centre Spotted In Terrible State

A purple coloured building which was formerly Ampang MP Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin’s service centre is now abandoned and in disrepair.

Zuraida is no longer the MP in the constituency after she was not only defeated in the last general election (GE15) but had also lost her deposit.

She held the seat since 2008 under PKR but failed to defend it this time around under Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM).

Zuraida left PKR during the infamous Sheraton Move and joined Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia. She left that party later to join PBM where she was named president but under a cloud of controversy. After GE15, Zuraida was sacked from PBM.

It was reported last month that the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) had taken over the property as it did not have the required approval to operate as a service centre.

The former minister had also confirmed she had handed the property back to MPAJ, according to Free Malaysia Today.

The Rakyat Post recently observed that the service centre is in a sorry state.

The only things left to attract attention are the bright purple walls.

It is unclear at this point what MPAJ plans to do with the property.
