Former Sarawak Governor Abdul Taib abducted?
SHAH ALAM – Former Sarawak governor Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud has allegedly been abducted from a hospital by a family member.
A police source has confirmed the filing of a report concerning Taib’s removal from a medical facility in Kuching.
It was reported that Taib was undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit of the Normah Medical Specialist Centre in Kuching.
According to the filed report on late Saturday night, a close family member allegedly disconnected all medications attached to Taib without notifying the hospital staff.
Following this, Taib was placed in a wheelchair and taken out of the hospital.
