16YO Schoolboy Beaten Up While Sleeping At Bentong Hostel
A 16-year-old schoolboy sustained injuries after being beaten by an older student (17) at a boarding school in Bentong, Pahang, yesterday (10 December).
Bentong police chief Zaiham Kahar said the victim complained of pain in his abdomen and blood in his urine to his father when he returned home.
He was immediately brought to Bentong Hospital for treatment, where it was found out that he was injured due to a suspected beating.
The victim then revealed that he had been beaten by a student while sleeping at the dormitory around 2am.
According to the police statement, the victim was also hit in the legs.
A police team has contacted the school and an investigation is underway. The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt.
